Why is it hard to find a dentist open late in Dallas?
Many dental offices keep a daytime schedule and close by 5 PM, and some close early on Friday. That works for people with flexible jobs, but not for nurses, teachers, restaurant and retail staff, or anyone who cannot leave work in the middle of the day. It is also why so many people end up putting off care until a small problem turns into a painful one.
Bleu Dentistry was set up around the hours people actually have free. Our evening and Saturday hours are part of the regular schedule, not a once-a-month special.
What are Bleu Dentistry's hours?

| Monday | 10 AM – 7 PM | After-work visits, weekend emergencies |
| Tuesday | Closed | Book online for Wednesday |
| Wednesday | 10 AM – 7 PM | Midweek evening visits |
| Thursday | Closed | Book online for Friday |
| Friday | 3 PM – 7 PM | Afternoon and early-evening visits |
| Saturday | 10 AM – 8 PM | Walk-ins from 10 AM, the latest close of the week |
| Sunday | Closed | Book online for Monday |

What can be done at an evening appointment?
An evening visit is a full visit, not a quick check. Depending on what you need, it can include:
- Emergency exams with X-rays for tooth pain, swelling, or a broken tooth.
- Fillings and temporary repairs for a cracked or broken tooth or a lost filling.
- Treatment for infection, including relieving pressure from an abscess.
- Extractions, simple and surgical, including impacted wisdom teeth, done right here in our office. See our tooth extraction page.
- Checkups and cleanings for new and returning patients.
- Consultations for implants, Invisalign, veneers, and other planned care.
Longer treatment may be planned over more than one visit. Arriving earlier in the evening gives the team the most time to finish what you need that day, so if you can, book ahead or come in well before closing.
Can I walk in after work without an appointment?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during open hours, and we see dental emergencies the same day. Booking online first is the fastest way in, because it holds a time for you and lets the team prepare. The booking page shows only real openings, and you can use it at any hour, including late at night or on a closed day.

How do I get the most out of an evening visit?
A little planning helps the team finish more in one visit, which matters most when the office closes in a couple of hours.
- Book online before you leave work. A reserved time means the team is ready for you, and you skip the wait a walk-in can face at a busy hour.
- Bring a photo ID and a list of your medicines. Some medicines, such as blood thinners, change how the dentist plans an extraction or other treatment.
- Save any broken pieces of a tooth, filling, or crown in a clean container and bring them with you.
- Tell us if you feel anxious. If dental visits make you nervous, say so when you book. Our sedation dentistry options can make treatment more comfortable.
- Eat a light meal first unless you have been told not to, so you are not hungry during a longer appointment.
Is evening care any different from daytime care? No. The same dentists, the same equipment, and the same treatments are available in the evening as earlier in the day. The only difference is that the office closes at a set time, so the earlier you arrive, the more can usually be done that day.
What if my tooth starts hurting after you close?
Check for emergency warning signs first. Go to the emergency room now for facial swelling that is spreading toward your eye or neck, a fever with swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, or bleeding that will not stop.
Without those signs, control the pain at home and book the next opening online before you go to bed. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever exactly as the label directs, use a cold compress on your cheek, rinse with warm salt water, and keep your head raised. Our guide to dental pain relief after hours covers what helps and what to avoid.
How much does an evening visit cost?
Evening visits cost the same as daytime visits. There is no after-hours fee.
- Dental emergency: new emergency patients start with a $99 exam, and X-rays are included. Any treatment is priced separately and shown to you in writing first.
- Routine first visit: the $159 New Patient Special includes X-rays, an exam, a cleaning, laser treatment, and fluoride.
Flexible payment plans are available through our dental financing options. Our new patients page explains what to bring to a first visit.
Do you see kids and teens in the evening?
Yes. Evening and Saturday hours make it easier to bring children and teens in without missing school. Bleu Dentistry sees children for dental emergencies, such as a chipped or knocked-out tooth from practice or a game. For a child's pain reliever, ask a pharmacist about the right medicine and amount for their age and weight.
